Bocote with 24kt Gold Plating
The pen is handmade from Bocote. Bocote has a yellowish brown body with dramatic brown to almost black stripes. The grain patterning can be quite striking and it is not uncommon to see many "eyes" and other figuring. Bocote grows in Mexico and Central and South America. The pen hardware is 24kt gold plated.
